Cancel Contract

Canceling a contract deactivates the contract on opswitch.
Once canceled, the contract status becomes Canceled, and the contract can no longer be edited or have its plan changed.
A canceled contract cannot be reactivated.

Important
For the Entry Plan, canceling the contract on opswitch does not cancel the contract on AWS Marketplace.
You must complete the cancellation procedure separately on AWS Marketplace.

The procedure for canceling a contract is as follows.

From the contract list on the Contract Management screen, click the ︙ (three-dot) menu in the row of the contract you want to cancel.

Select Cancel from the dropdown menu.

A contract cancellation confirmation dialog will be displayed.

“Are you sure you want to cancel the contract ‘[Plan Name]’?”

Review the details and click the Cancel button to proceed.

To abort the cancellation, click the Back button.

Once the cancellation is complete, you will be returned to the Contract Management screen, and a message saying “Contract has been canceled.” will be displayed.

The canceled contract will be shown with the Contract Status set to Canceled in the contract list.
